Board’s Statement regarding trade fairs participation in 2020

For Unisystem attending the trade fairs has always been one of the most important actions in the whole year. We always appreciate the professional organization, as well as the ability to meet the international public. That is why we successfully participated in different events in recent years.

However, the restricted meet-and-greet aspect of the trade fairs, not to mention our customers’, visitors’, and employees’ safety and protection, were decisive factors that made us resign from participation in fair trades in 2020.

“We made this decision after an intensive consideration, and I have to admit that it was not an easy one. Nevertheless, we are sure that it is the right one at this time and the global situation. Our top priority is safety of our partners and employees,” – says Unisystem’s CEO Sławomir Szweda.

New regulations and guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic make participation in trade events difficult. Also, a significant number of our customers, suppliers, and visitors attending the fairs every year are cautious and reserved when considering their presence in the fairs in 2020. These were also important factors that impact our decision.
