The Embedded World 2018 held in Nuremberg is one of the world’s largest international electronics fairs. It attracts more and more visitors and exhibitors. This year it was more than 1000 exhibitors what certainly proves the growing importance of the fairs. Unisystem presented its products on the displays hall. Our booth bordered with Winstar Display Co. Ltd. Booth, a company that is one of our largest business partners.
Cutting edge products – TFT, embedded, e-paper
Within three days of fairs, we presented both well-known and widely used technologies such as LCD TFT as well as novelties that appeared recently on the optoelectronics market.
We also showed embedded systems and the capabilities of AMT touch screens with the latest software.
A special interest of our visitors was focused on e-paper displays. We presented on the booth small black&white and black-red-white e-paper modules by Holitech (1.54”, 2.13”,2.9”, 4.2”, 7.5”). We also demonstrated how larger E Ink modules work (black&white version: 6”, 13.3”, 31.2”, color version: 31.2”). E-paper technology is still a novelty in the industrial sector. Our representatives were happy to answer visitors questions and tell about possibilities of e-paper applications, methods of choosing a proper touch screen to the application and support that we can provide to our clients.
A lot of attention was drawn by E Ink’s Prism. It is a 39.6” single-color e-paper display created for architectural and design purposes. We presented our logo that consisted of black and blue Prism panels and a decorative red-color module.
From conversation to project implementation
Our R&D department is still enhancing the knowledge about e-paper technology, e-paper controllers, material strength and tests carried out in authorized laboratories. We enjoy sharing our know-how while working on our clients’ projects. Clients receive a product that is programmed, tested and appropriately selected for the application.
