Winstar’s offer includes a new 5-inch TFT LCD display that uses the ever-growing MIPI interface (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) DSI (Display Serial Interface). This solution is designed specifically to work with high resolution displays. It significantly simplifies integration with the end device and reduces the cost of its implementation.
The WF50DSYA3MNN0# has a resolution of 720×1280 pixels in portrait orientation and 16:9 aspect ratio. The display is distinguished by a brightness of 1100 cd/m2 (very rare at this size), thanks to which the content is visible in the direct sunlight. The use of a IPS matrix provides a wider viewing angle (80 degrees for each side).
The module can operate in a industrial temperature range (from -20°C to 70°C), which makes it also appropriate for outdoor applications. Ideally suited to portable devices, such as manual POS terminals or handheld medical devices.
