New solutions of Spanpixel series by Litemax

Check out new solutions by Litemax available on Unisystem’s offer – 37-inch wide-screen LCDs of the Spanpixel series, which will go well with digital signage applications.

Litemax’s 3700-Y and 3705-Y represent the Spanpixel series. These are solutions of non-standard formats obtained by cutting the elements of LCDs, which are glass, polarizers, circuits, or boards. The years of Litemax’s experience in panel cutting technology come up with the excellent quality of LCDs, including the retaining of the mean time between failures (MTFB).

The differences between SSF, SSH, and SSD

The 3700-Y and 3705-Y come as six LCDs: SSF3700-Y, SSH3700-Y, SSD3700-Y, and SSF3705-Y, SSH3705-Y, SSD3705-Y, which differ in additional equipment. Let’s take a look at these abbreviations:

• SSF – “F” stands for LCD panels with LED Driving Board; these products can be manipulated by one interface, that is, e.g., LVDS; 
• SSH – “H” stands for SSF solutions with AD Boards, which also support other interfaces, e.g., VGA, DVI, HDMI, or DP;
• SSD – “D” stands for SSH solutions, but the whole electronic is installed in an enclosure.

These abbreviations are the same for each product of the Spanpixel series. (What is more, they are similar for products of Durapixel series, which are marked as DLF (“F”),DLH (“H”), and DLD (“D”)).

High brightness solutions

3700-Y and 3705-Y are 37-inch LCDs of 16:4.5 aspect ratio. The core difference is in brightness – it has been estimated as 1000 cd/m² for 3705-Y and 2500 cd/m² for 3700-Y. The high brightness, combined with other refined parameters, such as contrast ratio (5600:1 for 3750-Y and 7900:1 for 3700-Y) and viewing angle (89°/89°/89°/89° for 3705-Y and 3700-Y), provide excellent readability of presented content, even in the intensely lighted spaces. Both products can be used in outdoor applications, but you should note the limited operating temperature between 0 and 50°C. To provide their proper functioning in extreme weather conditions – low and high temperatures, you should think of additional upgrades: heating in winter and cooling in summer.

It is worth noticing that 3700-Y and 3705-Y are adapted to operate in continuous mode, 24/7. Their LED life time has been estimated up to 70 000 h (learn more about LED life time).
